About This, the second of my three fisheye photos taken at the historial Mogusaen gardens, illustrates how lines through the centre of the fisheye image remain straight. There is really no sense that this is a serious distortion of the original scene

Nice too! amazing it doesnt look distorted to me either.. I dont think the exposure is bad, maybe a tweak in levels?

I borrowed back the Zenitar fisheye I sold to my friend for this shot and the others in my "Mogusaen" series. Perhaps you can see why I wanted to buy another one? Fact is, I got the Bessaflex largely so that I could get another Zenitar (shh! Don't tell She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed).

Dramatic single point perspective and lush vegetation. A great combination/

Sony, thanks for the kind remarks, they're a great encouragement. I think that the shutter on my ancient Spotmatic may be a bit slow. The whole series looks slightly overexposed to me, and that may be what you're seeing in this image. Next time I use it (I keep it for the Zenitar) I'll bracket the exposures to nail them. The lens is also subject to flare, so there may be a bit of that...

Hi Roger, lovely series you got here. The composition is very nice, but I saw that the color is a bit pale in the middle. Was it because of the film (400 ISO in the midday)? Or was it the lens? Just curious though, but all in all, it's a good shot!!!
