Hey I was just explaining to Rona Johnson what a trypych was the other day and heres a great example.

triptych

n : art consisting of a painting or carving (especially an altarpiece) on three panels (usually hinged together)

Cant see the hinges or the altar but its close enough :)

Great series Ian.

By the way Roger what do you think about the idea of the left frame as central. I like it cause I think the left hand one is incongruous and it may balance it. The dark headland (left frame) may be better if centralized and an arc would be created in the horizon by it too. Also it's slightly better meassage to be preaching to the kids metaphorically I reckon (sic)... bit more of a full circle than simple end.
But that sea weed there, I look at it and despair, and actually think the trio is unsalvagable.

Fantastic colors and texture - and that d**n unique push focus blur works fab again. Don't mind the grit, but speculate in swapping places middle-to-right, right-to-middle. Would suggest both a coming in and going back out movement?

Whatch the surf, or you'll get wet feet! That's what we grew up with in the Netherlalnds.... Very good sequence, Ian. The sea taketh from the land, and Man taketh from the sea.

Cheers,

Hugo
