You did well with this one George, there is a great deal of depth of field for f2 must be the xtra you get with the smaller frame size of the digital camera. I am glad you didn't correct the colours, a nice warm orange suits it well.

Lovely shot, George. I love this place! I was there on my last trip to Paris but was too cheap to pay the stiff entrance fee!

I love the idea of bricks on the ceiling. I think you found the best place in the room to get all the arches. Really beautiful, good balance of clarity and darkness. you made it really easy to look into the picture.

Wow :-) so the sepia effect was due to lightning itself... gorgeous! :)

Thank you, Fabrizio. The b&w is doubtless a good idea, but the image shown is not toned. It is the result of the lighting and the colors of the walls. The effect is definitely sepia, but it was not induced by processing.(Thanks for the good observation.) --g

Strong geometries and patterns... but in my opinion sepia toning might not be the best choice... did you try with some strongly contrasted black&white?

Beautiful repetition of crisscrossing arches. The lighting works well -- you obviously have a very steady hand.
