Very nice reflection, the 'waves' in the foreground make it look like a painting. I think that in this case having the horizon in the middle hasn't caused any problems Gin

Beautiful reflection and colors. If I were to crop it, it would be off the top. You will still be able to see the sky in the sand, and it is the reflection that is less common to everyday experience.

This is a fantastic scene... has many dream-like qualities. It doesn't bother me having the horizon in the middle, but at the same time I think you have equally strong images if you crop either a bit from the top or a bit from the bottom. They are each an unique look, and have something interesting to offer. I particularly like a crop off the bottom, as it changes this into almost abstract art with nothing as the "anchor" as it seems very light and dreamy. Anyways, thanks for the comments on my two Golden goofballs.. I will work on a darker edged frame for around it to see how it looks!

Is this for real? Don't answer ... of course it is! What a magnificent view that must have been! Almost like a painting - intriguing, keeps the eyes busy for a long time. Well done AJ - this is a great one and it will become part of my fav folder. Linn

AJ. You can please some of the people some of the time but you cannot please all of the people all of the time. The person to please is yourself......everytime.

Thanks Danny. I?ve thought long and hard about the cropping on this one but find that everything else I try upsets the balance. I agree that some of the foreground could be lost, and this would have the advantage of lowering the horizon from its current position which is perhaps too close to the centre of the image, but I also want to retain the original aspect ratio. And now there?s Neal?s comment regarding the foreground? AJ
