Yes I agree with you Den, that it was all worth it. BUT, (yes, there is a but), this silly Aussie chick was not thinking straight and was actually standing right next to a power pole....doh!!! All I could think of at the time, was the shot and not my safety. Oh well. I guess I just got lucky, in more than one way.

Biliana, this one is proving to be quite popular. I am pleased, as I was a little concerned by the amount of dark area on it. But when I played with cropping the image, it just didn't look right. So I left it as it is.

Thanks James. The different lightning strikes gave off some incredible colours from daylight blue to dark, eerie colourings, to straight white skies. Incredible night for shooting.

Sulejman it was very mystic being out there in the dark, cold, wet, windy night. Just the sound of vehicles rushing past in the rain. The ambulance as it flew past. The sleeping trucks nearby and natures curse cracking all around me.
