About Bola de gude is a popular game here in Brazil. There was two boys playing... and moving very fast.
I still can believe I got this capture of one of the two boys.

I added a motion blur on the ball and lens blur on the background, to increase noise.

All comments are wellcome!

Dear Carmem,
well done macro composing, interesting noise effect and blur. Just wonder about the composing itself. I think it would be better to have more space to the right as the moving hand shows to the right. just a idea though, hope you know what I mean ;-)
take care,
thilo

Hi Carmem, I like the closed up composition alot. Very effective, and the tension it creates by not telling the entire photo, but leaving it to the viewers imagination makes it have a very strong impact.

Good blur in the for - and background. I'm not sure if I find it very effective in the marble in front, but it does add a nice dynamism. I think it might be even a bit redundant, as the white marble (which seems to be the real one moving) takes care of that dynamism already.

Still, a very good shot. Well captured, and well post processed.

CHeers,

Hugo

Hi Carmem,
this is a beautiful shot because on one side it concentrates on the essence of the motif, a relative restricted number of objects but on the other side by your composition and use of light you bring out the texture of each object perfectly giving them all equal importance making this picture very rich. It looks as if you put in here all your love and sensitivity. The smooth skin, the even smoother and shinier glass marbels and in contrast to those the grainy softness of the trousers. On another level: the static strain of the supporting fingers and the easyness of the flipping fingers, setting the one marble in motion in contrats to the other immobile ones. Just so many things to detect. A masterwork in my book. Best regards Jorg

When I was young ... after concluded homeworks I spent my time playing with my friends like these boys .....many years ago.....
Great detail on the hand and yes good idea to add motion blur to emphasize the point of interest.
PS: take a look to the whole series and to the title too to understand what i mean.
By the way tomorrow you will discover the message embedded in the title....
