Nice composition - I particularly like how the background slopes towards the camera - it creates more dynamism and depth than if this had been shot perpendicular to a flat surface. The contrast between nature and artifice is nicely made. I particularly like how your natural subject has three distinct, vivid colours compared to the dull grey artificial background and I also enjoyed noting the difference in line (straight grid vs. flexible curves). I'm liking this series!

An exceptional photograph, John. I'm not sure that the metallic nature of the backdrop comes through as well as it might--a little too bland--but the grey still forms a good backdrop to show the floral colours to best advantage. The colours of the flowers are simply delightful. Leica is obviously doing something right... the Japanese magazines were unanimous in saying that Leica's colour processing in-camera was sufficient reason for buying the Leica version rather than the very similar National Panasonic version. (IF, and it's a big "if, you can afford it.)
