About This is one of my earliest photos while,as a little girl,my father was teaching me. He handed me out this Nikon F camera and a separate meter and told me to compose the frame and shoot. Later we developed together the photo at home with a sepia tone.

Great shot; the self awareness of the woman is perfect in contrast with the old photographer busy with his camera; I like this reportive, natural and unposed style. Good story too. What year was this one taken? In appearance, there must be about 60 years between man an woman....:) Very well exposed, and I like the high level of details. My compliments!

Cheers,

Hugo

Antonella- this is so sweet! I love the picture and the story. I only wish I could see the complimentary photo- the one the old photographer would have taken of you, in your tender youth.
Warmest regards, D.

Dearest Antonella, this is a most amazing photo, and I say this with all sincerely, maybe your best ever... I know it is quite old and you have done many beautiful shots since then, but this is an absolute masterpiece! it evokes quite a bit emotion in me watching your father meticulously setting his camera getting ready to take a picture! what a wonderful wonderful capture that bridges the great void of time....jon
{ps you mentioned something about stops when using my new tele-converter lens, could you please tell me more about this?)

Meravigliosa
I love it, Antonella!!!!!!

Max

Antonell, you handled the elemens in this composition very well. I particularly like the placement of the lady on the right, looking out of the frame. Rules are made to be broken. You have a very good eye and this shows in your other work. I would like to see this with just a slightly softer render to take off the gritty edge. Warm regards John

Well, your father obviously helped you get started the way you have gone on ever since, as a multitalented photographer. If you had only put the original copyright year on the photo we would have had a clue how old you are! (No, I'm not asking! Your beautiful photos are ageless...)

This really is a nostalgic image, of course because of the lovely story behind it but also due to the subjects. The old man setting his camera, the contemporary dress style and the uncertainty by the woman shown by her leaning on the heel of her shoe and touching her glasses. Wonderful capture Antonella, you had no doubt a very good teacher and picked it up very naturally.
Bravissimo, cioa, Rob

La prima partendo da sx il cavalletto che inquadra il foro rettangolare su cui è stato "dimenticato" un fazzoletto (credo);
