About Still playing with layers. This is a flower over Laurens face.
I put the stamens at the edge of her eye to simulate lashes.
Thanks for looking and hopefully commenting on this technique.

Eeeek! The effect you obtained through careful alignment is amazingly frightening. Doubly frightening, actually. --Jim

Yes Craig,,I was going for gruesome! I guess I accomplished that.
Richard, I thought about reversing the heads "back to back".
Then, I forgot to do it for comparison.
Peta, I told her about it, she hasn't seen it yet, she'll be home
from school on the weekend and I shall show her. I don't think
she will like it. She didn't like wounded! lol

Thanks everyone.

Elizabeth

Well gruesome? I find it is really more fascinating than that. :) My favourite part is the stamen, makes very cool eyemakeup. Has Lauren seen this? :)

Liz; I agree with Richard, and gruesome is a good choice of words to express my feelings too. It also looks alien and somewhat menacing. If the girl had a smile on her face(s) it would completely change the character of the picture. You've done some cool PS work though. Maybe "gruesome" was your intent?

Good to see you back Elizabeth, I find this image a little gruesome, I doubt that's your intention but I am being honest. I think as regards the composition it might look better if the two heads were reversed, looking out, so the neck with the bony structure is cohesive, but there are many possibilities with this one, best wishes - Richard.

if not in the comment the flowers are not visible; the title too is poor descriptive about them; concerning the shot light is a good one with softness in the skin surface and I like the overall composition; a good and original work, not difficult to say artistic one
