I did a very similar photo-- but much darker version with a seagull. You've done an excellent job with the sun, and the only thing I would add is that the crow could use some sharpening and even more contrast to make the overall effect really dynamic-- give it a try and see what you think.

Yes Peta, I see they're all over the place. They also
raid my bird feeders.
I didn't give him any fries so he left but I was able
to get this shot. I thought his pose was perfect!

I like the other too Elizabeth, have not been back to comment...but I love the simplicity of this version a lot.
I am attaching a photo of his 'brother' taken Friday at the bank while waiting for Brooke...it was 'borping' across the street to the No Parking. ;)
