excellent graphical composition. I think the cropping is perfect otherwise the eye&mind couldn't relate it to the shadows from the wood, so it would just be a graphic picture.

The composition is perfect, it does allow the shadows to dance...What I like even more about this is that it isn't high contrast and we can see the grain of the wood which allows this to move more freely than if this were just geometry.
