Cute shot altho I think it is supposed to be more serious - she is in such a lovely place and seems a teenager when everything is soooooooooo dramatic :) Great quality as always Liz !!! Cheers, Michele~

Very expressive. I like it very much. This would be only autumn in my country. Winter would be more white. :)

Excellent shot, good placement for the woman and the tree...and very emotive work, somehow looks sad.... like the sundays in winter as you write on the title... excellent deep tones of the grass that 'bright' better the woman as the 'main target' of the image...perfect...

Thanks Paul. I have several variations...there is one with layers done in b/w that I got equal second place with at camera club (Roger Skinner and I placed 2nd together) and another that has really strong colour...I liked the desat here though, so that's why I put it up.

It's wonderful and very delicate! It also reminds me a classical russian painting of 19th century! I'm speaking about Victor Vasnetsov's "Alyonushka" ). I attach it, and I think you're agree that it's amazing how different artists reflect the same idea!! All the best!
