About Lake Louise, Alberta, in beautiful Banff National Park. I was waiting for the clouds to clear to get some better light on this shot, and some young woman (otherwise busy renting canoes to gullible foreign tourists for FORTY BUCKS the half hour!!!) starts yelling at me that I was on private property and to get off. Then she has the gall to try and stick her fat hand in front of the camera. But "the shutter is faster than the bimbo" as they say, and I got my picture anyway. LOL...

Some fooling with saturation and brightness.... the light wasn't that good yet, alas.

Oh bugger to what-ever... keep taking them! I have shots what earned me a tap on the shoulder and a, "Come with me. by the local authorities. And Eli just recently came home from months studying in Italy... and she has "forbidden" pics of the Sistine Chapel... snap away my friend...

Hi Jon,
Don't you just love it when they give someone a badge and they think they are in charge like that. As far as I know, every one has the right to walk along shorelines in Canada. Even if people think they own the land, they really don't.
I didn't realize you could obtain the rights to the Lake Louise landscape images. :)

ps
I have a few shots from almost that same area in 1977.

What a beautiful scene. To bad you didn't think to get another unflattering shot of her and post that.

An unusual sense of depth for a small format . . . .

Despite the post cameras mods, it's still a great shot.
