Hi Doyle,
I'm honored that you remembered me and sent me a message. I deleted my profile sometime ago. Whoa is me! I posted some of my pics on Pauls Photo website (Torrance). I'm still into photography. This weekend I was asked to take photos by a family friend of their daughters Homecoming game (she is a Cheerleader and the Captain of the team). I was also at the family home on Saturday to take photos of her two daugthers, their dates and all the other students who attended the homecoming dance that were at the home. In the process of getting the photos ready and making a DVD slide show. From that night, I also job an offer to do some photos of a Baptism. Still not charging anyone, but both of them are insisting on paying me for my time.
I've been stressed out a bit. Might lose my job soon. I have an interview tomorrow for another position in the company. Wish me luck! If I don't get a position before my job is moved to Irvine I will be out of a job or will have to make a drive to Irvine to keep the one that I have.
Glad to see that you remembered me. I've looked around for you when there is a photo opp in the area.
Maybe I'll post a shot from the ones I took this weekend.

Doyle I want to look right through your portfolio but I've been having a hard time deciding where to start...Lol. It may take me a while...
I picked this one to start with because, just going by the thumbnails, this is my favourite off your page 1. I think most likely because I'd love to be lying right there next to her (although that might ruin your photo).You've captured a beautiful moment wih a beautiful amimal, well done.

That's one cool cat. There's a wonderful atmosphere here, and the colours are superb - just lion and sand tones, with some garnish in green. No evidence of zoo at all...

You gave me an idea with the "maybe too centered vertically" comment. Heh heh heh. As soon as I remember what it is, it's going to pay off. I DO remember, but by saying that you won't bother to ask! (Therein lies the Genius part).

I've been peeking in as time allows, peeking only though...just not enough time to comment, until now. This one, IMHGO, the best of the "cat" series Doyle...composition, minimally (but enough) off-center horizontally (maybe a bit too centered vertically), well balanced with the two patches of green creating a slight diagonal line. Excellent tones, great focal clarity, especially on her eye...you can see the sky(?) reflected...in short (or maybe not so short)...well done and well titled my friend!
Now let's talk forte...animals are yours, florals are mine (or so you say), the 1-2mm border hmmmm...seems NOT to be your forte EITHER! :P

Thanks Michele. Her Uncle Devon trusted her to use his 7.1mp Point & Click and she was utterly delightful trying to get the PERFECT shot and taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R to get it just perfect. She'd get a shot and pump her fist with a YEAH!! I GOT IT!! Then . . . sigh . . . she confided how much she wanted to be like Granpa and Grandma! What a great day. I'm attaching a shot SHE took (I worked it for her). Naturally . . . I'm a tad bit proud!
