Hi Paul, I looked at the original which was already a good photo, the retouching in this gives it an edge over the original, making it better suited to a Fashion shot, well done! :)

Well, Paul, it is not wrong there, it is only that it seems like a... loudspeaker on the shoulder of the model, which sometimes I find good and sometimes not, depending on how I look at the image. I do understand your point of view, though. Strange thing that repeated looking on an image, I guess.
I hope to see more of your fashion shots in future, so hurry up, get out in the streets and find some models! Now! ;-)

Ah, yes. Mark B also said I should remove the sun sign. There seems to be a growing agreement for that, but I left it there as relevant to the direction of her gaze, and also to reinforce the orange sky I composited in.
Thanks, Nick, for being honest enough to tell me what you think is wrong in my photography...it is the only way I can grow as a photographer.

The result of this image is very vividly ubran look and feel in my head, Paul, which goes hand in hand with the streeware of the model! Even the tones on her skin are somehow dusty, rusty, urban, and still so full of life!
A bit of too much I find the sun that steals some of the importance of the face of the model - or perhaps I am too addicted into models? ;-)
Anyway, this is exactly what I mean so often when I say that altering an image shouldn't be limited to applying PS-filters and inroducing one's self as an "artist by accidental results out of PS" ;-)
Best wishes and keep it up,
Nick

Rick, I was shooting ISO 800 because my lens is only f/4.5 and it was very early morning, with pretty heavy cloud-cover. I didn't want to use a flash, as it would obliterate the background in darkness.

A very cool finish on the model and actually, the whole feel of the shot is lovely. I like the purse in relation to the buldings and sky.
