Michele: I like the shot and the Sepia is a good medium for it. I'm at work and not on a calibrated monitor but I can see that I'd have adjusted the midtones, brightness and, thusly, improved the contrast (Feels a bit washed out for my taste) . . . I see you did you homework on levelling the shot but don't think it's quite there (IMO). You might have used a roof line as a base when I think the curb between the cars would have anchored it just a tad better . . . admittedly a picky nuance and only 1 degree of difference but it would have helped counter the intuitive feel that the cars are slanted upwards toward the right . . . as it's a ferry . . . it likely makes even less difference . . . ships on water are notorious for being less than ideally level anyway . . . and I LOVE the dog in the shot!
Still loving the work . . . I've attached a 1 degree tilted example . . . you can ignore the tonal shifts . . . it's just where they were left after I had explored the image contrast thoughts as they applied to midtones (as I mentioned) and aren't meant to guide you in that respect.
If everything goes well after my suture removal tomorrow . . . (heh heh heh) . . . I may be up to going out on a long overdue photoshoot Sunday! IhopeIhopeIhope. :)
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

well surely that is not a common ferry, well seen original photo Michele....ahhhhh....hope to test the 18mm at a more wide angle with the cars in perspective into the boat... surely that place can give many many good photos, very good that too. best regards!
