About What is lift of a very old house in Kuwait city. Do you think I should remove the new buldings in the background?

Hello again Moayad. It is about choices again. If this was taken as a purely documentary picture then I think the buildings have to stay if you are trying to show what exists now. If you want to change the aesthetic appearance so that the image is somehow less discordant and more agreeable, then yes... you can, and should IMO, lose the new buildings. The take home message is that your picture is still valid either way.

I like the shot and perhaps if the modern buildings are not important, I would have looked for a shot that did not include them. The warm sandy colours are really nice and they complement the green of the grassy area. Is there a hint of falling verticals? My eye suggests to me that the camera may have been tilted to the right slightly and the evidence appears to be in the tower blocks which seem to be leaning to the left. My optometrist will probably recommend a seeing eye dog or a white stick to me the next time I go. :))

Cheers!

Jeff
