Thanks so very much Dear Ray! You intelligent and well thought out critique is once again spot on! As it happens, I failed the Early Romanesque Math in Society Today class. OH! If I had only paid attention the V would have been an obvious answer . . . but Alas! what is one to do? The kids say today, "When will I ever use Algebra?" Now I can point to this shot and tell them I wondered when I would use ancient Roman numerical representations . . . and . . . LOOK at what happened to me. Internationally embarrased by a pre-grade school error!! THIS . . . Could happen . . . TO YOU! LoL!
But I was captivated by the adorable factor . . . so I plead lack of free thinking. :)

I have found a serious technical fault in the title Doyle.....surely (I know...don't call you Shirley) it should be I V I II??:) 
Another oh so charming shot of this wonderful and adorable little troupe of dancers my dear friend. I love the positioning of the feet belonging to the little un 3rd from the right and the 2 in amongst the V with hands up to their mouths wondering what comes next......Fabulous, fabulous moments my good friend. An excellent trio of shots to come back to us with and I am filled with hope that you will keep visiting us in between your busy agendas. Actually, Cyd's friends and classmates might be considered "mine" I guess . . . but I only had one grandaughter in this recital (of the 3 - hmmmmm 3 granddaughters and three grandsons) . . . and she isn't in the shot. I posted a photo of her in response to an earlier comment - but they were all sooooo cute!

PS Michele - My angel isn't in these shots but with her group the lighting was such and her placement such that few quality shots happened . . . she performed only one dance. I have attached an after shot . . . you will note she seemed quite happy about the event!

They had professional lighting, videographer and stage . . . and theatre. Amazing really. Never had a daughter this age - mine was 12 or so when I married Marlyce. Marny always said it was a good thing I didn't and I now think she's probably right . . . my granddaughter has me wrapped around her little finger as it is!! Too . . . WAY toooo cute!!

Love these photos! I had to laugh as I recalled when my now grown daughter Lisa was a child and on stage. No matter how many rehearsals: they always do their own thing. These are great photos and will bring a smile and a sigh to any parent or grandparent that has been in the audience for a recital. Thanks for all of them.
