Shirley I have to share some history behind this piece. When I was a wee lad (a hundred years or so ago!)by great-aunt Jessie had one of these hanging from her parlor wall. I was fascinated by it's bizarre appearance. Fast forward ahead 40 or 50 years later, I spark a renewed interest in "The Claw" which was, by now, in my possession. I tracked down seeds via internet research and grew the plants. The flower (which you see here in inverted colors) features a "yellow brick road" (actually my working title, "Follow the...")which lures pollinators into it's nectar pit, due to their sensitivity to chroma yellow. Cool huh?

Teratai, I obviously made an error in judgement with this one 'cause a lot of viewers see the fish......(fish, flower, flora, fauna they all start with an "f"!) LOL I'm happy you're looking and seeing something! Thanks, -john
