Thanks, John. There is a site near here that I've mean meaning to shoot at night but haven't yet gotten around to it. It is visually very exciting in the ealy evening. The main PS effect on this one, by the way, was a bit of a vertical stretch to make everything a little taller--totally for the visual effect.

Yeah, nice. We've got one of these in Algeciras that was supposed to blow pollution over Gibraltar. Just that they forgot that the prevailing wind is from the east and most of the time the rubbish gets dumped over Algy. I keep meaning to get out and take some shots of it, especially at night...
There's lots going on here, with all sorts of things to look at. I like the contrast between the refinery and the landscaping in the foreground. Not sure if it needed PSing as it looks as though it was pretty dramatic originally. I might have cropped a little off the left though, just to eliminate that slightly leaning stack.

As I said before, George, this really does bring back memories of my time in an industrial R&D lab. We were creating instruments to measure the stuff these stacks were making. One I remembe well was a "Cat-smell titrator." Your PS work makes this look almost beautiful, certainly very impressive.

Je dirais que c'est une très bonne photo, une image qui n'est pas habituelle de votre part mais qui raconte une histoire, ce qui est habituel chez vous. Vous moqueriez-vous de quelque chose? Si on rafine du rhum, ça va! :)drilan

Very good industrial shot, George! Lots of details there to keep the eye busy, and even the splash of colour! Dave.

captures the moment perfectly. I think "fined" is the key. Really beautifully done.
