WOW Eric...this is amazing. The most beautiful image of this scene I've had the pleasure to view. Looks like a Christmas card with the framing trees. Into my faves it goes. No Not Ansel Adams but Eric Goldwasser. Looks like you could develop your own Yosemite style here (if you spent enough time there) that doesn't mimic AA. OK nuff sunshine blown your way. I love it! :)
Cheers - Ann :)

Eric - since I haven't looked at all your stuff, I don't know if this is one of your best or not. But it sure is good - nice framing, good sky, good detail. I like this a lot.

Looks like you figured out how to use Photoshop! The difference between this and the first post of it is night and day! Can you say Ansel Adams?

Wow, I can see those big trees way up there on top of that mountain. Crisp details! Looks right on to me. Cut my finger on the face of that rock!

Man, making a photo like this is only something I can dream of...mainly because on the Great Plains we don't see stuff like this. :) Seriously, though, this is an absolutely perfect exposure. Detail is amazing too. Great stuff.

Can't knock a classic. Like how you framed it with the pine branches, well exposed, classic shot of Yosemite. Excellent job. JB

As a person somewhat addicted to colour, I have to admit that sometimes black and white says all there is to say. This has got to be one of those times. Congratulations!

Eric,
I wish I had taken this shot and you had a feather up your rear, then we would both be tickled. I love the shot. I wish you would have provide some info on it though. Did you use any filters, what format. The framing of the trees is a classic view in my opinion. It will never age if attempted correctly, and I believe you have acheived this here. Good Job Buddy! Eric, usually bold colours catch my attention, but for some reason this did the same. I think it is the sharp tone changes, the contrast range and the angles and shapes. It really is a good compositional effort. The sloping hill in the foreground looks nice in front of the mountain. Anf you have framed them nicely by trees and leavse without making them too distracting. I agree with you. This is good stuff!

Eric this is a much, much better sky than your previous one. This one adds instead of detracts.

this is a heck of a lot better than the previous one of this that you posted. the non-blown out sky makes a world of difference to me. great shot.
