Nice picture, last summer I took a lot of pictures from spices to (at the egeptian bazar in Istanbul), the beauty of a good picture is that when you have such a subject a this, you can smell the spices on the picture!
Its a wonderfull picture, but still i suggest a lower point of view, now you just look right at it. But no hard feelings, overall still a nice picture!

Marc, beautiful image of a red rose in the bottom right corner. IMHO I would crop this image down to the top of the red rose on the left side. This would get rid of the light spot at the top left corner. Or you might try cropping both the top and the left side into the leaf of the main rose. My opinion only, for what they are worth.

Marc, just looking at your images and ran across this image, posted as Humor. Humor it is and IMHO if you cropped it down the second photo on the right side, it might work better. This is only my opinion and through my eyes only.

Thanks for you funny comment (the Alice thing).
I don't really agree with you though. I look at it as a "portrait" of a mushroom. The blurry background allows to put forward the main subject: the mushroom.
A matter of personnal taste or interpretation I guess.

Good shot, I might have chopped off the blurry bit at the top for this image. IMHO a tight crop works better.

Excellent geometric composition. The rigid shapes and lines are a great contrast to the soft expanse of water. A more interesting "fluffy cloud" sky would have helped break up the area of blue but we cannot control the weather. Great shot that has a real sense of open space.
