It's like me all worn out but still waiting for spring. A very wonderful composition here. Your photography has come a long way since our early days of UF.

Best wishes,
Jimmy

This is beautiful, Del. You should print this, frame and display it proudly. This pattern reproduced on place mats would go great for the table around Thanksgiving time.

Your son did an excellent job of capturing the fall colors. I see lots of aspens in the scene. I like the dof he used.

I like the composition with the single tree dominating the foreground. Superbly taken in a beautiful setting.

Superb macro, John. Tack sharp with lots of detail. The diagonal pattern of the green background also works well.

A great depth of field, just as it should be to capture this beautiful vista. Well done, Nedim.

Del, this is really a great shot. The subject, composition, texture and colors are wonderful. I do find that the border distracts me from the photo. A photo this good doesn't need a showy frame. Of course, this is just mr personal taste.

Mary, this is an outstanding portrayal of mother and child. You certainly have a lovely pair of girls there. The look you've captured on your daughter's face is worth far more than a thousand words.

Such a beautiful, idyllic spot. Excellent composition, Lori.

Thanks for the comment on my "Reflections ..." Doing o.k. here. Just been on break from Usefilm doing other things.

Hey, Del, A really timely shot. I'm crazy over the one in the lower right corner. Did you know you can download a program from the National Institute of Standards and Technology that will allow you to synchronize your computer clock over the internet? It's one of the few things we can get free from our government. Their site is: http://tf.nist.gov/service/its.htm

Great shot, Del. Nicely composed with the exposure just right. We used to call these things "elephant ears."

Hi Gayle, beautiful job on this shot. I too like how the flag is illuminated.

I received your comment on my little frog shot. Thank you for your concern. My family and I are doing fine. We live outside Monroe, LA, which is about 200 hundred miles from New Orleans. This distance from the gulf makes us relatively safe from hurricanes. Our area received a lot of the people that left the coast areas before the storm hit and then bus loads of people from New Orleans, afterwards.

Great shot. Great message - a sad commentary of what we as a society have become in just a short time. When you and I were growing up, something like this was unheard of, and we lived with opened windows and unlocked doors. What has happened to our world, Del?

A very colorful night shot. I like how the aquamarine color seems to glow in the dark.

Thank you for your concern, Marian. I live in northeastern Louisiana, about 250 miles from where Katrina hit the coast. Just a little rain and a period of gusty winds as the storm passed up through Mississippi which is our neighboring state to the east. It is heart rendering though to see the damage to people's lives in those hard hit areas along the coast.
