Thank you Joel. Unexpected ideas for images come when you're bored. The Kiwi fruit in my portfolio is another bored moment I had.

Thank you Chris. Funny how the things you think of when you're bored turn out interesting.

Thank you Pablo. Black bears rarely attack humans except when provoked, there's food around or if you get to close to the cubs. I've seen park rangers chase a bear away by running up to it yelling while hitting the ground with a large tree branch.

The clear lights were just three bright white bulbs in the ceiling fixture.

I used a zoom lens and held my camera away from the drop zone. There was no chance of getting it splashed.

Thank you all for your comments

Stunning!!
You might not like filters but Noise Ninja is a great PS plug for removing noise. Just use it in moderation and add a little unsharp mask to it after you are done.

Noise Ninja PS plug in
http://www.picturecode.com/

For anyone interested:

What I do is open the image, click "filter" then select "picture code" then "noise ninja". When it opens click "profile image" and let it do it's thing. When it's done click "filter" from inside noise ninja and work with the siders on the left hand side making sure you do not burn out anything. After you use the noise filter click inside PS "image" and then "mode" and change it to "lab color". In your PS layers box click "channels" and click "lightness". Now just go to filter and then unsharp mask and enter these average settings.
amount 82
radius 2.0
threshold 4
When done click "image" and then "mode" and change it back to RGB color. Now save it.

Thank you all for commenting. The problem with the whole reflextion is the board was small and the whole refelction wouldn't show up unless I raised the POV and then the view wasn't eye level.

Thank you for your comments Doyle. The mountains behind the city are slanted naturaly but the city is almost level. You can see it with the Space Needle in the middle of town. Also I left the same height with the mountains on both ends of the image. It starts near the same height and then slopes down near the middle in the back of the city as well as the front.

Wow nice capture. Maybe a little "unsharp mask" using photoshop might take away some of the softness.

Thank you Mary. I did make a copy where I cropped a little off the bottom but it doesn't have the DOF feeling I wanted.

Thank you all for the comments. There was some burning out in the trees in the background mixed in with some heavy mist. This image isn't soft except in the areas near the stream because of the foggy mist. When I open this image 100% it's very sharp along the flume and the mill house.

WOW! What a beautiful image. I hope to be able to do this kind of work to my images using photoshop in the future.
