Did you have your bike with you? Or maybe it was someone else. I saw someone with the same gear as you this morning at Radio Road around 10:30ish when we (YS, MA and myself) met up this morning.

Talk about having a hard time getting close to these guys - YS and I used MA's boat this afternoon and tried to paddle near some migrants - long story short- we were not successful. Luckily we were able to paddle back to shore...

H.A., I actually like the humor you conveyed in this abstract! Very good use of framing technique to "ask" the question! As they say plastic makes the world go round.

Awesome shot Christine! This is how you do it, try to get close and just shoot. Did you take this shot this morning?

Hi Christine! I like your composition! Very good use of repetition! One tip though - you may want to consider getting a Noise removal tool like Noise Ninja or the like - it will help a lot in cleaning up the image due to high ISO. Well done!

Hey Yamil,
Wonderful image as always! Love the sharpness in his eyes and the colors, excellent capture of him with his wings spread! I like the blue on the water as well! I'll join you on the shoot at HMB if you're heading out today.

I like it Rob. The sun's morning rays really give this mountain it's grandness and majesty. Excellent capture, I'd have opted for a telephoto, but given what you've got, you captured it well.

Just browsing your gallery and looks like you've captured a lot of beautiful places. Congratulations on BIP. It is a very strong image, well composed, excellent capture of the shadows of the riders as well as the sloping sand dunes! Excellent!

Just wonderful! Composed any other way it would not have come off as good as this one. The strong outline of the branch cutting across the frame and that single duck on the upper right holds this image together despite the busy background. Well seen and excellent image!

I like how you've used the porthole (?) to frame this lighthouse. Good use of framing within the frame technique. This gives it a good twist compared to going for the straight shot. Well done!

Wow, I love this image. It is truly a wonderful reflection. I like the rippling colors you've captured - the red house, the white chimney, the green window and what appears to be a bird against the blue sky. A very creative approach to capturing this image!
Well done!

Hi,
You've captured or managed to capture the waves hitting the rocks, this is good, however, the placement of the lighthouse is not the best. Have to agree, a "thirds" placement is needed to make this more stronger, move the light house to the left , it would also have given you more of the wave splash and the rocks on the right. As it is it feels cut off and the viewer wonders what's on the right side.

Alan,
Thanks for the message.

This is a very good start- you need to look at everything around you and try to photograph it in a way that expresses how you feel about the subject. You start with a good composition and work towards getting a technically good photo. Have to agree this one has an overexposed padlock - you'll need to learn your gear better and see if you can do a spot meter here to get the proper exposure. You'll also realize that in order to convey a subject matter better, you'll have to try and remove distracting objects around it. This is best done by zooming in and isolating your subject.
