Nice light and skintones. A little pink in the bg looks great. But overall the composition is slightly confusing.

This is an awesome idea with a great DOF. try posting it in b&w (may be in sepia tones). That will accentuate the shapes and angles in this picture.

A really nice and professional shot. I loved the distance between man and the boy. It shows they are also enjoying the atmosphere around them.

Looks really nice. Confuses me though after reading your description. do u mean the furry string is actually crystals of vanilla essense? that must be a real microscopic lense you have used. In some of your previous pictures (e.g. The tank) you have used the same lense but probably with a lesser magnification level. right? Any picture that shows the maximum magnification of your lense?

This is an impressive shot. I must say the subject is very strong and the exhibit of a perfected-over-time weaving skill is so vivid due to the texture of hands and finger positions. well captured!! I would slightly disagree with Zafar (with all due respect). I think the darkened part is a bit overdone here. The one posted in comments has perfectly harmonious dark border.

This is an excellent shot Monica. The bottom-up gradient of light is beautiful. Texture is amazing. Light spot on the wall is creating a bit of a distraction though.

You are right about the overexposure of spot lights. I tried to darken the image digitally but i wasn't satisfied with the output. So next time I take the picture with a faster shutter speed.
You are also right about the mosque. Let me know if you ever plan to visit Pakistan. Will show you many interesting things about this mosque and other areas of Lahore.
Thanks as always for your comments. I learn a lot from them.

You have an exquisite portfolio! each and every composition is really commendable. i am too much of a beginner to comment technically. but all of these pictures have complete stories to tell and moods of their own. i would love if you could look at my work and criticize.

The best part of this picture are the small flares on top. they look like small flame islands. The blurry (half) tree looks like a reflection in rippled water. superb contrast of the two. fabulous shot.

The b&w has its own charm of a different type. But i liked the colored one better .. that one is more abstract and imaginative.

This is a great shot Alyazia !! The geometry in the picture with amazing contrasts in colors. sharp focus on the stencil light is excellent. a little feel of the wooden texture adds a very nice solidish flavour to the image. How did the red color bleed on the bottom right part of the picture? is it because of the shallow depth of field or it is post-processing?
Great work! keep it up!

I wish usefilm guys had a rating option above excellent ..
upon smelling danger, the first reaction of a bird would be to 'wink'. the process of winking includes squeezing pupil, tightening of the eyelid, sliding it down like a shutter and folding it back. all this happens in a microsecond.
your camera captured the first part of that microsecond when the bird has just started to squeeze its pupil. nothing less than a miracle. simply incredible !!

This is exactly the kind of feedback I have always wanted on my work. Thank you so much for taking out time to do it. I did increase the contrast to a point where i damaged the midtones. Will be careful next time. Did you notice this damage with other pictures also? because I manipulated them in almost the same way but with a different degree of contrast increase.
