I wish it was sharper too, but the focus was on the flower from centre and the enhancements from PSP also added a little blur on the background 
I tryed, but ...

PS: I like the pillar too, but I tought that some people don't like it

Good job! I love the way the dramatic clouds in combination with the clear image of the flower. I wouldn't mind the pillar, it gives the image a different touch.

sunt impresionata de claritate si macro;am folosit si eu pe soare cam acelasi setari pt. macro, si uneori incerc sa focalizez cum pot eu mai bine si cu deschiderea de 2.8 ca sa iasa blur mai mult in spate,dar claritatea la tine e chiar super.

Da, intr-adevar iti distrag un pic atentia floricelele, dar si asa de abia am reusit sa o pozez.
Uite setarile pt poza:

Nu am reusit sa ma apropii prea mult ca zbura. Era ideal sa fac un super macro,dar ...

Indeed, S50 is a good camera for macro photography. Not very good, but for it's size and price it is more than ok.
