Ian,
The Colours and shapes of the landscape are excellent.
Personally I might have even cropped the sky a bit more, but then that might just be because from a pilot's perspective the visibility is pretty awful!

Ah, you're outphotographying me again. This image is by far superior to the one I managed then. You've captured lovely colours in the photo. I'm looking forward(ish) to see what you've got from the ball. David

Very good capture indeed capturing all the action. I think the crop is rather too tight and not only the bike but also the child is cropped off.
Problem with panning in digital is that there is actually a delay between the shutter release press and the actual time of picture taking. In some cameras it is annoyingly long.
Anyway overall an excellent result.
Kind regards.

Ian,
Not bad for a first attempt. I think you need some slightly better control on the vertical movement(not easy as you are doing a downhill shot). If you have a tripod you might want to try the panning along the horizontal axis with that.

Nicely done, Ian - really a very good composition! Great character in these weather-beaten old huts (of course some vandal had to come along and mess it up!) If I were to offer any critique about this, I'd have to agree with Dragan that the sky is a bit *too* blue, but overall a very good photo!

Ian - Excellent landscape composition. The fence is a great subject and all the better with the reflection. Is it me or is the horizon a little tilted? keep sharing the good work.
Cheers, Allan.

I took a look to your potfolio and this one shot me immediately. Most of you landscape photograph is well done pruducts with sun light. But this one is the best! The sun is not shinig, it's dancing! Thanks for the comment. You say you are 2 years old in photo-art but you look like older!

This still strikes me as sublime and better than my sunset shots. Maybe you don't get such good views of sunsets in Newbury, but when you get the chance of some you make much more of it.

The focus is spot on in this shot Ian, and the depth of field really brings out the flower's centre. The flower itself is covered by very few shadows which is great considering all the foliage around. In answer to your question about lying down, no i don't. I just use the screen on the back to judge and take quite a few shots to get something right! and no i didn't use a spray - those drops were already there. David
