I just love this. I love the bent, wind-blown petals. I love how the sun illuminates some petals giving them a golden glow. I love image of the sunflower against a gorgeous summer sky, so powerful and so fragile at the same time. I had to add this to my favorites.

I like the positioning of the flower to get small areas catching the light, and nice colour contrast with the sky.

I love sunflowers - they always make me smile. great shot. Wonderful colour. I like it that you have not gone for the obvious front-on shot.
