Thank you, Jose. I am glad you enjoy this photo. I took quite a few shots in the caverns, but this one was definitely my favorite!

Great macro! How big is this wasp? The flower looks very interestng, as well. Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Rafael. I like the textures and colors in your shot. Overall interesting composition. It could make an interesting B&W as well... Nicely done!

Beautiful rose, Peter! I'm glad the heat hasn't wiped them out. Lovely color!

Very nice photo manipulation! I love turning already nice photos into paintings and this one is very well done! Beautiful columbines - were they originally purple, or did you color them? I haven't seen them that shade before, but have seen ones colored like the young bloom in the center. I just got done checking out your portfolio - Love your technique - it's a fantastic collection!

This looks like you had so much fun! Love the reflecting water drops! I'll have to check out his photos, but looks like you were pleasantly successful!

Very nice pic! Like the light shining thru the petals and the unfocused mountain and trees in the background. Makes me want to take a trip to Montana where I grew up in the mountains...

What pretty blooms, Lea! And so tiny! I don't think I've ever seen a member of the daffodil/jonquil family that tiny! It's amazing that many water droplets could crowd onto these tiny flowers...

Welcome to Usefilm, Andy! Pretty colors - what kind of bird is enjoying the blossoms - and maybe any bugs attracted to them - do you know? Also, thank for commenting on Mystic Falls! It is a fascinating place!

Isn't creative photography fun? Bringing to life something that wasn't visible to the naked (or non-computerized) eye... Great job!

Clear, dramatic floral portrait! Very nice. Glad I looked and glad you shared with us! I had columbines for awhile, but they didn't like where they were planted and eventually disappeared. They were red and white. Very nice. I'm putting together a shade garden and will be wanting to add them in there. Photos like this are encouraging!

Kitty looks like she's in 7th heaven! Pure bliss... Too-cute photo! I presume the human at hand was finished with their share??? On another note, please be aware that too much chocolate can be toxic to dogs or cats... More a problem with chocolate candies than choc. flavored ice cream, but... worth keeping in mind!

Thank you for your kind comments, Khaled. I really should have added a little more about this shot. The falls were lit, so this shot was done with available light. I knew that would sheet the water just a bit, and I was quite pleased with the result. I must give credit to my Dimage A2 and its anti-shake - this was done hand-held as it really wasn't practical to take my tripod into the caverns with me! Also, as a note to anyone who cares, I did not retouch the photo at all - just framed it.

All you can do is attempt to capture the mood of the day - or hour as the case may be... I've never been there, but fully understand the difficulty in capturing what you really saw... nearly impossible! (That is what made photographers like Ansel Adams great!) That said, you did capture a moody mood of the canyon with lots of layers and levels... I do see one line on the left side - was this photo stitched together? Just curious to know if that's what I'm seeing or not.

I think this is a wonderful photo! A light in a dark place is a thing of beauty, adds a level of security, lights the way... my only qualm here is that maybe the yellow and orange in the framing are a little too bold and distract from the photo. I like them there, but perhaps less is more...? Just an opinion, for whatever it's worth.

Great DOF - between that and the color, the stamens really pop out! Like all the info on the flower, too. I am planning on planting some this fall - hopefully the squirrels will have something else tastier to eat at that time!
