Neil, you have the talent of making good photographs out of subject matter that isn't normally considered photogenic. I believe I've almost always seen thorns depicted in a negative manner - either to contrast against another subject or as a metaphor for some dark emotion.
Your photograph captures the inherent (and overlooked) beauty of a thorny branch. The sharpness, the color and the DOF come together very well. I specially like the horizontal composition.

Fabulous! The colors, the composition, the reflections on the water, the silhouette - all are excellent. This is a fantastically beautiful image my dear friend. 7+++ from me.

Beautiful composition and colors and a beautifully captured sunset. I do have to ask if you used the unsharp-mask on the reeds in the foreground though, they have the telltale outline. If you did use the USM, then try a smaller Radius setting.
Overall, this is a superb image. I specially like the long foreground drawing the eyes into the image. Very impressive work, Debarshi!

Fantastic work! I have to admit that at the very first glance the thumbnail reminded me of the old soviet era propoganda posters. But of course, that notion was dispelled as soon as I saw the large image Your photoshop talent is amazing, Judi.

Beautiful composition, Neil. I like the shallow DOF and the dew drops on the flower buds. Very fresh and beautiful.

Fantastic candid! I can see why this is the client's fav - you've captured the joyful innocence of childhood perfectly in their faces! Your composition , DOF and tones - all are perfect.

To answer your question, a slight crop to the right and top will tighten the composition. Overall, I do like it as it is too.

Beautiful work! Very nice colors and a very effective angle - the railings draw the eyes into the picture without being overwhelming. Excellent DOF.

Beautiful composition and colors, Senthil. The flare is not very distracting - if you have photoshop, then try playing with the clone and healing brush tools to remove the flare. Or send me a high resolution original and I'll do it for you. My email is on my public profile.

Interesting perspective, Zeev. Wonderful warm tones. The canopy forms an interesting abstract, while the branches give form to the image. I like this a lot, Zeev.
