LOLOL.... Ah, my secret identity has slipped out, finally, after all these years. My first name is Jon, but I usually go by "Jeff", which is my middle name. Except for on UF, where I adopted Jon as nom de plume, as it were.

Hi Jon,
I lived with that sibling rivalry thing with my two boys for years too. There is five years difference between my two. The older ones can be awful mean to the young ones sometimes. I think it has a lot to do with the young ones stealing the attention away from the older ones. Later on, it all works out fine. :)
BTW. If you don't mind me asking, why do you have Jon as your first name, yet you sign as Jeff?

Hi Jon,
This might not have been your intention, but for anyone into religious symbolism, this looks like a sure bet for an Easter image. I agree with Vehbi below. It seems a no brainer for a Good Friday post.
It really is a strong image.

Saskatoon - "the Paris of the Prairies", as I have heard it referred to (I think in a Tragically Hip song; I once spent a bit of time trying to track down the reference, with ambiguous results).
As the Medicine Hat sank, a large group gathered on the bank and on the Traffic Bridge to watch. At the height of the festivities, a couple of cowboys tried to drive a herd of cattle across the crowded bridge, with predictable results. People afterward agreed that it was the most entertainment they'd had in weeks.

This is a pretty darn nice scene Jon. Garbage bins and all!
I suppose it would be much more traditionally romantic without the trash bins. But it would have been a lot of work to move them. :)

Nice image and an interesting "about" Jon.
The image itself, reminds me of some that I've seen before, shot in Paris. Seems funny to use Saskatoon and Paris in the same reference. :)

Pretty similar climate and terrain here to many places in Russia, I'm sure. It was actually a fairly bright day, so I shot it a bit dark and then played with the contrasts to get some more mood into the piece.
