Thanks, actually I never was crazy about this one. Im more critical of my own work then anybody else could be. I never noticed the eyes on the bottom like that.. your right.
Thanks for the thoughts from my about me.. Ive not updated it guess, but its my life so thats not going to change. My seizures have calmed with lots of meds but they have horrible side effects. But, you know, Ive never been happier in my life (or the last one lol... gotta have a sense of humor!).

not a single thing wrong with this that I can find!! You had the perfect f-stop and the focus of the subject was very clear, no doubt about it. So vivid and colorful. Makes it more than just a portrait!

this is really cute! great idea/pose. the only thing I notice is the front elbow being head on to the camera.. but Im not sure how else you would do it while not covering up her face at all. Beautiul! I bet she loved it

exactly! you can only learn the best from trial and error, just jump in and try! You can learn as you go as well s get tips online, from other photographers and get different peoples viewpoints. You obvioulsy have alot of good work to practice on!! youve got some great work!

I love this.. arent beach scenes wonderful? She is perfect! His head seems a bit too far and they are completely centered, maybe if they were a bit more to one side or the other.. but its sooo beautiful.. gret work!

I also use CS2. I did use layers, magnetic lasso, highlighted edges and mostly used paintbrushes for so much of it!
She does love it thank you!

Thank you for such intense criticalness... (laughing at self at loss of articulate wording) I will play with it some more, saved it as a project to do just that. The reason for the red, white and blue was she is a young marine and her bday party is this weekend and we were hoping to post it there. I will use your ideas. ALso,,,, warhol.. wasnt sure if that was a compliment or not. AMnesia is hitting me full force in that area.. is that a good thing to be like him???

Basically to show all sides of her personality is the reason for it. She is very intelligent and bright, but has a dark almost violent side at times, she can be a perfectionist which also sends her into rages of anger, she can be helpful and loving but also emotionless. She is also a YOUNG MARINE. Thats my reasoning for everything I see in this pic.

I love the lake reflection but wish thier was just more color and saturation, one of those more unique mornings that are full of color, but how to we predict those? lol... its a great photo and I love the idea!

Thank you and a happy belated bday to you as well! Mine was a month ago. My next kid's is in June (10) and then we get to wait until august but will give me lots to take pics of.
Famly is good other than watching over me scared of these seizures I am no having. How about you and yours?

WOW.. what a comment,,, thank you very much! You gave me a bit of everything I needed and asked for. I do appreciate that very much. I need it! I want to learn as much as I've forgotton (amnesia part) and get even better so that by the end of the year (perhaps) I can have my business going better than ever! Yes, a 13 year old is hard and she wont be the last. She has 2 younger sisters coming up behind her fast. I keep trying to keep the youngest a baby but it just isnt working! Lol.. thanks so much!

I appreciate your feedback and totally understand your perspective. This particular piece though will be in my professional portfolio. We have the cover page, then this contact page and a my philsophy page then each group of pictures by catergory, so I guess this was taken a bit out of context in that aspect.
