Mary...thank you for stopping by and taking the time for a nice comment. During the time in Hawaii, I did not have a clue as to what kind of bird this was until I got back home and a friend told me it was a Cardinal. I thought as well they were supposed to be all red but I guess not in Hawaii...:-)

Mandy...Thank you for your kind comments. I really do not know what my f-stop was set at. This bird would come to our Lanai each morning so one day I got out my telephoto and shot a few photos. Thanks for stopping by and blessings to you.

This particularly caught my attention as Cardinals are one of our favourite birds at our feeders. Our males are totally red. The females have a a brownish tone. This one is so inreresting with the same shape as ours but with vibrant red head and the bright blue body. Super shot.
