I like the first crop better. The little bit of unpainted concrete in the lower right is disturbing in the second crop (IMHO).

I really like the concept here. I'd suggest a slightly different camera angle so the bare surface doesn't show in the lower right corner. Also, I'd try to manipulate saturation or contrast to make those colors pop.
