Really elegant--even for a swan! The white of the bird contrasts beautifully with the dark ground. The capper is the fine reflection. Good work . . . Regards, --George

Certainly is a charmer! The composition is excellent--just the right placement of the dog and good use of dof. The frame sets it off well and defines the composition quite effectively. (There are some who do not like frames or edge treatments at all, by the way!) If there is any quibble, it is that the dog's face is pretty well obscured. Nothing to be done about that in this case, though. I suppose there wasn't a brown dog handy. ;-) In sum--a shot you can be proud of! Best of luck, --George

It's simple. I'm the go-to guy! ;-)
It's an ART show, but they let me in anyway. I have sold a couple of pieces recently, and I use that as a justification for all the time and money spent on this enterprise. But framing sucks . . . Good luck, --George

It is a great moment . . . and the expression is priceless. Larry's gotten me started--The focus is sharper on the embroidery than on the eyes and the hairline. That might be adjusted effectively in PS . . . and adding a catchlight in each of the eyes wouldn't be a bad idea either. Good work . . . Regards, --George

This has a certain drama, but it doesn't stand up to scrutiny as well as "The Heart" that you posted a few days ago. I think it's because the real visual interest isn't very well defined. What do I know, anyway? Best of luck, --George (BTW--I'm getting a few pictures ready for a show. I'll be back soon . . . )
