Dear Susan, thanks for your comment.
This shot is very easy.
If you want to take a sunset photograph, you must make a composition firstly.
And than you must adjust your camera's shutter speed is very high like 1/750 or 1/1000 or more than these...
This is Golden Rule about your question.
Only this...
