Cathy, I had a circular polarizer which I used on this one. The lighting was a little difficult- being sunset and cloudy.

 No the picture is not crooked and no manipulation - Cathy.
Actually to tell the truth, all the structures in the vicinity of the tower inclusive of the tower itself...are all leaning by varying degrees. It is due to the geology of the area. Regards Joy

Overall an interesting capture and title.
Composition
I would have liked to see a simpler rendition. the two people behind the main subject are distracting
Lighting Appears to be ok.
The less DOF in the picture adds to the emotional appeal of the photo.

As evidenced in your other action shots, you do have a good eye for the drama of the situation. This in particular is a good action shot.As a suggestion, is it possible to keep more of the left side on the frame (assuming it is on film)? It would have been nice to have the person falling positioned about 1/3 on the right side that way. However, such dramatic action shots happen in a split second.And it is not always possible to get in all of it on film. You have not mentioned what type of lens you used. Perhaps, a zoom wide angle lens such as a 24-120 or better is recommended. Later on you can crop the image (with all the action). I have also included another crop of your image. Though I too would have liked the glove.

Thanks for your comments. I agree that the DOF has to be improved upon. What I wanted to achieve in the photo was to visually provide the difference in texture of the two types of fig cones. Going from hard and coarse to soft. I would like to take this shot and post again as some have suggested. Thanks again for looking, and your invaluable support.

Excellent shot Girish! Like Suvomoy's comment , I too feel that all over the world, footwear is not usually considered to be a photogenic subject. Your shot in this case, proves this notion wrong. Good eye.
