Yes, yes, yes, yes. This is wonderful. I love the composition and particularly the shifts in texture between the wall and frame. If I were you I might have removed the 'stain' on the wall just in from the dark shadow at the top left of the image. Goes into my favourites.

Thanks Dave, We were driving in the car, and i took some pictures of distant lights. Because it was dark, the shutter speed was slow so i moved the camera as i tiik the picture, giving the dragged affect. Not such an interesting picture when you know how its done though! Vanessa :)

Brigitte, Thank you so much for your kind comments! I will try to catch her again and do my best to get some more photos of her. The weather here has been obismal for summer, so being outside in a nice setting has been almost impossible! Shes a fox terrier. This was the fisrt photo i took of her, she has grown huge ammounts and and a hair cut since then also! Thanks again, Regards, Vanessa :)

Ohh how adorable... I love Poppy's fuzzy hair.... is she a Jack Russell or a Fox Terrier... either way, simply wonderful dog! I bet she keeps you entertained. I love her "cheeky" look! Lovely photograph... maybe a tad too harsh for lighting.... I would love to see some of your photos taken of her while outdoors in natural lighting. Pets make wonderful photographic subjects, although sometimes these guys can be so fast, they are difficult to capture in a good pose. PLEASE post more, I am a huge fan of these dogs!! :) 7+++ for cuteness!! Warm regards, Brigitte

Thanks for your comments Gary. I really appreciate that you are honest! And i think you may be right. I tend to over edit photos, and wanted to keep it simple this time, although i may have chosen the wrong image for this! however removing the people has definatly had a great effect. Vanessa :)

Dave knows my feelings about over-editing, but it's definitely a better shot with the people gone. I also think conversion to monochrome would improve things. Still, you noticed the potential to start with... Regards, Gary

LOL, like I said, I understood what you really meant..
Forgive me, don't be offended... but I had to get rid of the guy blowing his nose... or maybe he was taking a picture of the cute blond... so I got rid of here, too.
Oh, the power of Photoshop...

Dave, I have to admit, your most probably right! But it was almost impossible to get the shot without pictures, there were so many people around, and being on a guided tour of london, i didnt have sufficient time to stop and take my time. However, i loved the effect of the reflection so much i felt i wanted to use the image anyway. Many thanks for your comments! Vanessa

I don't normally care for 45 degree angle photos but this rocks. It works very well with these objects! Much more appealing than a straight on shot, which I would have done because I am boring and have no imagination.... and I would've had a crap picture.... LOL
Best Dave

I really like this as an abstract and love the reflection on the pavement too. I think this shot would have been worth waiting for the people to leave the background. I find them a bit disturbing to the image, especially the guy blowing his nose. But then maybe it was your intention to incorporate people... or totally impossible not to have people running around.
Best wishes, Dave
