Isn't that two pairs of pears? What are these setting on, I love the reflection. I think the lighting could be a little softer or a little warmer to add that "old world", painted, still life effect.

The "flower child" strikes again. Well done Bev. Your eye for composititon in macro shots continues to impress.

Yikes, that's close. At first I was bothered by the feet not being there, but the longer I look at it the more captivated I become with the detail in the head and the action created by the movement of the wings.

Fifteen views and no comments yet, quite rare for one of your images Chris. This is another high quality shot that is a departure from some of the superbly posed shots you've posted over the last couple days. Just love your stuff....inspiring!

This whole foggy sunrise series is delightful, deserving of all the high ratings. The reflected sunlight below the tree seems just a tad bright to me. Other than that, another great shot.

Gary, this was shot from the south side. It's a hike of a few hundred yards from the yacht club through some front yards that border that side of the channel.

Yessir! Prefer this composition over the first. Just fantastic color. Like an impressionist painting.

Thanks for all the generous comments. No problem John M., my wife is as bald as they come (chemotherapy) so it's an honest mistake. It's also the reason the light is so well reflected

Made me a little dizzy taking the shot Mary Sue. This was taken at a place called the Southfield Town Center in Southfield, MI. It's an office complex of several tall glass fronted office buildings not far from where I work.

Thanks for the comments guys. It was an emotional walk that day. Literally hundreds of folks in this cemetery on this Veterans Day, all apparently moved with their own quiet thoughts.

This is great Chris. Even though you have a single light source here, each subject looks like they have been individually highlighted. I think the shadow on the bench helps enhance that by seperating the subjects. Good to see you posting here again, have always enjoyed your work.

Thanks for commenting folks. This is really the first time I've done something like this to an image and I guess I've gone overboard. I have attached the original in which I think the sky appears too washed out. Ingrid, I played with different degrees of cropping the sky and can't seem to make it work without losing the perspective.

Another good one Howard. I like what you've done in this series with the close perspective on these colorful subjects.

Interesting subject. Well eposed. A little difficult to make out that it is a bench. I think you could have (and maybe you did) taken several shots from different perspectives to see if that would make any difference. Keep shooting and posting. I think you'll find the site helpful.

I like this. Nicely composed and just the right amount of light of the man's back. Aiman makes a good point about the same kind of reflection on the rod as you have on the rim of the man's hat. That would have really added, but a very good image as is.

This is great color and in fact makes the shot. I like the foreground and agree it leads you into the shot nicely but, I'll weigh-in in favor of it being as sharp as the rest of the image.

A very provocative mood created with this shot. I think it's wonderful. I wish however, that the sky along the horizon was not so bright.

I think the composition is very strong. Only nit is the bluish backed lace in the right middle of the frame. My eye keeps floating there which is slightly distracting.

Hope you don't mind me adding to this rather long list of compliments, but I couldn't let it pass. Beautiful. Suspected it was yours upon first glance at the thumbnail. I can appreciate every constructive comment here, but this is very strong as is.
