Thanks for the comment Simon. As I said to John above I didn't really know what I was trying to achieve with this pic as such. I do agree with you reagrds the placement of the North Cathedral. Better luck next time I suppose.

Visually, placing the North Cathedral in the centre of the shot, i think makes it the focal point and therefore places additional 'importance' on it. It's elevation you could say does that, but the placement doesn't not help...

Good photographic idea to present from the back with the framing of the rails, Paul! The overcast sky adds mood. I am not sure about you including the flare at the lower left as it distracts a bit.
