Wouldn't be very lucky if you fell in it with those cactus like spikes. *ouch* A lovely image Petal with good control over focus and lighting. Very nice greens with an interesting splash of colour in them. I love what Don did with this too. I wish I too had time to pick Don's brain. Are you STILL trying to get sleep over there Petal? Don't work so hard. You're making me tired....but do keep posting great photos. :)
Thank you for your comment on my Still Blue image. Yes reflection shots can be difficult when the reflection is always darker than the subject so one just has to find somewhere in the middle to take the shot.
Cheers - Ann :)

Hey neighbour... yes, we're side by side on the page... how's that for coincidence... LOL!!! It was more of a 'hairy guy' (in bad need of a shave... ;-D) than it was prickly... and I got quit a few stares again whilst taking the shot... 'who on earth is taking a shot of that insignificant WEED, must be missing a few... ???!!!' And who am I to argue, right... LOL!!! Thanks for commenting and have a great weekend!!!

WOW Don, I love what you've done to it...!!! It's easy you say... well maybe for you it is... but I couldn't do it if my life depended on it... LOL!!! I should take some lessons or buy a real good book on it (you know any... or are you writing it yourself... ;-D), but to find the time... Next to working, taking photos, uploading them and looking what all the great photographers on this site have put on here... I really do have to catch up on some sleep as well... LOL!!! Thanks again and have a real good weekend!!!

Petal this image intrigued me so I took the liberty of working with it for a few minutes. This is very easy to do. Didn't know how dark to make the background as you can go to black if you want. Thanks, Don.

Well I've never seen prickly clover before!!! I have seen a 4 leafed one though (found it in my lawn at the last house I lived and promptly lost it - so much for luck!!!) Good composition Petal - normally I don't like central subjects but this works really well! Good bright lighting too....
Nice one Petal!
