Oh my, this is certainly a HUGE windmill. Sure hope that guy got danger money for his job. I didn't see the man in this shot in the thumbnail but WOW! Very appropriate title and interesting lens flare effect suits the composition. Great shot.
Thanks also for taking the time to view and comment on my Space Shuttle image.
Cheers - Ann :)

Excellent composition; the lens flare actually enhances this shot rather than spoiling it.
What in the world is that bloke doing up-there tho'?

It appears that the size and height is considerably more than the mills that I have... in my case they are only used to generate 'air' to aerate some small lakes... but have to presume is was a windless day or there was a lock upon the blades... as otherwise your friend would have become fodder for the four legged beasts below...
well seen!

A brilliant use of light flare to emphasise the view structure. Well thats mathematics, the real punch is : it has a wonderful cosmic reach out.

Great composition and interesting lighting, Judi! We have windmills exactly like that here, but I've never seen one that big, ours are about the size of the inner circle of that one. Dave.

inquadratura suggestiva e soggetto insolito, mi piace come l'hai montata, con quella diagonale che la divide in due parti uguali.. Come sempre un gran bel lavoro..
