That's a really beautiful composition! The Blue Heron looks fabulous, and the background works really well. Especially the yellow flowers contrasting well against the blue heron. Wow!!!

Oh WOW...that's about the closest I've ever been to a blue heron. They're quite the majestic bird aren't they. Great capture there Darlene. The detail is superb. You've caught him against such a beautiful background. Oh to have that lens. Must be nice. :) Great shot.
