Marco! Every little thing in this piece is expressive! I like the shadows in the second floor window and the one one the right wall. The only thing about it-to my eyes- is the distraction of the branches on the right. Why do you underestimate yourself?Don't! baha

My sincerest apologies, Marco, I do understand clearly now. This is not a practice in the states (at least I've never seen this), things of this nature go into the newspapers. Another interesting thing I have learned and I really appreciate your sharing and explaining. I certainly hope I haven't misspoken :(

well, janet, maybe i didn't wrote exactly what i meant... here in italy (i thought it was common practice also in other countries), when someone loses a relative it's usual to stick posters to inform the neighbors on the date of funeral... the posters report the name and the age of the deceased, and often some word of grief... i thought the english word for it was obituary, but maybe i was wrong! anyway i canceled the name of the kid because he was only ten y.o... a stupid thing, i know... :)
this is an example (i found this pic on the net, i didn't shoot it myself) it says: "at the age of 101 luigi esposito serenely passed away". and someone added by hand something i can't translate literally but says more or less: he should have even protested...

Not sure that would be entirely 'bad taste' Marco....I never heard of such a thing on a wall...?? I would love to see it just to know what you are talking about! Another amazingly toned image....LOVE it!

Bellissima foto! Un'affascinante tonalita che accentua una luminosita' quasi irreale. (7)

Well I guess I make it six :-) Maybe should leave in the obituary next time... I like the way the sky is rendered in these - very post apocalyptic!
