Thanks Larissa. I think abandoned houses are great subjects too. I always take care when exploring, sometimes the structures are not too stable.

Great moody landscape. I love the abandon houses, they are spooky, but very dramatic. Larissa

No worries my friend. If you do make it up, I'd love to give you a tour. I love Georgian Bay, and never miss an opportunity to show it off.

Thanks Vanessa. I actually prefer the cloudy days for shooting. They seem to suit my style of landscape.

Thanks for the invite Richard. I'll bring my six kids, mother in law and the four Rottweillers. We only need a little room for our trailer. ;) ;) Only kidding of course:) But, If I'm up that way, I will email you for a map to some of the sites at least. Andre

A long driveway lined with trees, is the only evidence that a farm once existed here. The house is well back from the road, and obscured by foliage most of the year. I stumbled upon it by accident one November. And yes Andre, it is a stones throw from the ski runs. Well, maybe if you have an arm like Damon Allen. Thanks for the interest, if you ever get up here again I'll give you a tour of my fav "relics".

Hi Richard, I'm wondering how I missed this place. We were walking around at the top of those ski hills in the summer a few years ago and didn't see anything like this. Is it near the Blue Mountain ski runs? These places are so interesting! I'm sure you must have some close-ups of the brickwork as well. I'll check. Andre

Thanks for the comment John. This is a fav location of mine. The farm must have been stunning in it's heyday. It is located on top of an escarpment, about 1000 feet above Georgian Bay. The view from the house would have been spectacular. BTW the conditions you describe for your shot are tough for ant camera.

Great find absolutely a great farm shot - I'm always interested in old farm scenes, again great capture. As far as my shot of beautiful colors it happened to be a very gloomy and foggy day, thanks for the reply John
