thanks for the input. i don't really 'see' in a panoramic kind of way. i like the idea of this woman having some space to engage in her 'private conversation'. the original print is a bit more contrasty. i'm still learning the ins & outs of scanning & such...

True, you could simplify the composition by cropping it to a panoramic type of image, but (in my narrow view) I think it works as it is. To my eye it only really needs a higher level of contrast to snap, try it and see.

Yeah. I feel the same way. This would work better for me as a panorama with the top shaved off. I love the positions of the three subjects here. Very nice. Good eye for framing. James
