Thanks Gayle, Actually and I dont think I ever mentioned this before to anyone here but I was born in NE WA. A very small town callllllllllled Marcus population there was i think 200, 195 after my family left LOL. That is where I got my name, I first developed my passion for birds as a child there, as we would see Eagles and hawks at Roosevelt lake, and in the Colville area, We then moved to Olympia then San Francisco. I was very young and dont remember much, but I do remember the birds and that stayed with my to this day as you can see... Anyway I think you have somthing with your photoart its amazing and looks as though you have been at it for years. I really hope you keep them coming, I think you can apply this talent to many aspects of photography, but the women are very NICE...

Like the natural BG earthy colors and dof...great looking hawk,Marcus...we have many hawks out here in western WA. and i love their high pitched cry

Oh WOW Marcus this is TOTALLY AWESOME!! I love everything about this one, and a great capture for such short notice...the colors and composition are fantastic, that background is gorgeous against the colors and details of this wonderful hawk...a perfect dof to isolate him from the background and his mouth being open is so cool..it almosts looks a bit threatening...this one deserves an award...in my favs...Linda

Thanks Jim, I use Af always, and AI Servo mode for tracking, I also use continuous shooting and am not shy about letting 10 in a row rip when i get a nice bird in focus..

This is the juvi of the red tail in yamils shot, you can see the red tail with no black checkers only red with a black stripe, they are usually the only ones that screem when flying by...
