Thanks Thilo very much for the great comment. Do you mean soft as in not-sharp or as in missing contrast? If it's the first then yes the camera was bit shaken because of the wind and slow shutter speed (it was gloomy), if it's the latter then yes it was intentional :)

that sky really shines! and the dead wodden corps has some meaning.

The color palette is exciting ! Great lowkey, very artistic work with colors and tones, as always ;-) A typical ?Fadel?
Because you show kind of backlit scenery with the brighter spot in the sky, I thought about a slight vignette, a radial brightness gradient on the water, flowing to the sides

Hi Fadel,
I just went back and visited the other two versions of this image. I must say that it is impossible to pick one as the favourite. All three are beautiful for different reasons. You have a great way with the understated, muted colours that really suits this type of landscape. It's hard to beat this one.

Fadel, I like the colour version better, although only marginally, as I think the colour makes it come "alive". The tree stands out a little more, and it adds to the drama of the sky. Very well done in both cases!

A very beautiful image that's quite rich in textures and power. I can't decide if I like this or the BW version better. The are different, but both quite striking. The lighting is very beautiful in both shots and the branch awash in the surf adds just enough visual focus to the image. A very very well done photograph. Congratulations!
