Hi Eric. I really like this shot a lot. Says much with minimal "stuff". I totally agree with you on the cutting off the right foot. Draw the eye the direction he is taking off to. Nice.

Angelo,
Attached is a second shot which does include all of the right foot. I debated between the two, but decided I liked the cut off foot with more of the base showing. It seemed to me to increase the tension and imply that he was anxious to run on to the next base. The shot with the entire foot strikes me as more static.

Nice detail, Eric. Shows the tension in the game just from a tiny detail like this.
